Mr. Kun Kim: Teachers have paid attention to teaching refugee students

Phnom Penh: Senior Minister and First Deputy Chairman of the National Disaster Management Committee, Mr. Kun Kim, praised teachers who have devoted great physical strength to teaching refugee students, no matter the circumstances.

During a visit to displaced people studying at a temporary school in Sla Kram commune, Svay Chek district, Banteay Meanchey province on May 11, Mr. Kun Kim said that despite the circumstances, teachers have worked hard to teach students with care to continue to ensure human capital to become good, quality young people in the national society.

He said that the Royal Government, led by Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia and Chairman of the National Disaster Management Committee, has set priorities in addressing the welfare of the displaced people without leaving them in any shortage of space.
 
He added that this attention is being paid through the construction of temporary houses through the Cambodian Veterans and Retirees Association, the construction of infrastructure including: roads, electricity and clean water, as well as support for daily life and the preparation of schools for students to continue their studies, while the Royal Government is seeking a solution by all means, including international legal means, on the border issue.
