Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: To strengthen the friendship and cooperation in the tourism sector between Malaysia and Cambodia, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia, through Tourism Malaysia, has organized a large-scale international tourism promotion program called «Malaysia Mega Familiarisation Programme 2026».

On this special occasion, the DAP News Center from Cambodia was officially invited to participate in this visit to bring Malaysia’s cultural and famous tourist attractions to the Cambodian public.

The program took place from April 30 to May 4, 2026 with two strategic goals: 1. Promote the “Visit Malaysia 2026” campaign: Demonstrate Malaysia’s readiness to receive international tourists. 2. Cultural Exchange: Showing the rich traditions and colorful lifestyle of the Malaysian people.

DAP News journalists actively participated with a team of content creators and renowned international journalists from countries in the region and around the world, including: China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Laos, etc.

One of the highlights of the program was allowing the press delegation to experience first-hand the exciting event «Rain Rave Water Music Festival». This festival combines musical performances from famous artists, modern entertainment related to the water element, and a fun atmosphere that reflects the energy of youth tourism in Malaysia.

Through the participation of the Cambodian Information Service, it will become an important information bridge to encourage Cambodians to better understand the tourism potential of neighboring ASEAN countries. In particular, it is to facilitate travel between the two countries.

The Ministry of Tourism Malaysia strongly hopes that the collaboration with international media will make the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign a great success and attract millions of tourists worldwide.
