Pursat: Just one day after receiving the high recommendation of His Majesty the King Hun Manet at the ceremony to celebrate the 19th anniversary of Cambodian Veterans and Retirees Day, May 12, on May 15, 2026.
With a high sense of responsibility, on the morning of May 16, 2026, Mr. Khoy Rida, Governor of Pursat Provincial Government, invited departments, units, and city-district administrations to bring 4,500 saplings (a type of tree that is resistant to weather) to plant at Military Zone 5 in direction 4, Thma Da commune, Veal Veng district, Pursat province.
The provincial governor also demonstrated the techniques and methods of planting saplings properly to the frontline soldiers to ensure that the saplings have a high survival rate. This activity is not only a contribution to creating green cover and protecting the environment, but also a source of encouragement and strengthening the close solidarity between the civil administration and the soldiers who are standing guard at the frontline.
