Phnom Penh: GAZ Thanh Dat, a prominent automobile manufacturer and distributor, organized an event to showcase several models of modern Russian cars to representatives of the government and the business community in Cambodia on May 15-16, 2026 at the Sokha Hotel, Phnom Penh.
This important event Organized with the full support of the Russian Embassy in the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Cambodia-Russia Chamber of Commerce. Also invited to attend were Russian Ambassador to Cambodia Anatoly Borovik and Minister of Commerce Chamnim, as well as many private sector representatives.
Mikhail Semenikhin, representative of the GAZ Thanh Dat assembly plant, confirmed that these vehicles are manufactured and assembled directly at the factory in Vietnam, Da Nang.
In addition, he also presented six types of vehicles in the Gazelle and Sobol families, including minibuses and vans, which were displayed and allowed the distinguished guests to test drive them.
GAZ Thanh Dat aims to become a reliable partner for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as state institutions in Cambodia. Designed to withstand the road and weather conditions of Southeast Asia, these vehicles are expected to reduce operating costs and increase transportation efficiency.
