Kandal: On May 17, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha, Minister of the Ministry of Interior, and Ms. Ke Suon Sophi Sar Sokha visited and checked on the condition of Lieutenant Colonel Jin Lina, a police officer from Kien Svay District Police Inspectorate, Kandal Province, who is currently receiving emergency treatment at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital.
In addition, some funds were brought to the family of Lieutenant Colonel Jin Lina to help cover medical expenses.
Lieutenant Lieutenant Chin Lina was seriously injured in a traffic accident while carrying out a mission to protect a high-ranking national delegation on National Road 1 between kilometers 33-34, Prek Pol village, Banteay Dek commune, Kien Svay district, Kandal province, on May 16, 2026.
