Phnom Penh: On Monday afternoon, May 18, 2026, Mr. Peng Purna, Minister of Public Works and Transport, invited to lead a meeting to discuss the transportation of goods through Laos, with invitations from ministry leaders and relevant officials.
The meeting was held to review, discuss and urgently find solutions to the real challenges of Japanese investors related to the cost of business operations and supply chains in Cambodia for the approximately 200km stretch of road from Pakse to the Lao-Cambodian border gate (Nong Nok Khiene – Trea Peang Kriel).
