Acting President of the Senate invites to hand over humanitarian aid from the Senate and the Global Life Saving Fund of the Republic of Korea to the Kandal Provincial Administration

Kandal: On May 26, 2026, Mr. Ouch Borith, Acting President of the Senate, presided over the ceremony to hand over humanitarian aid from the Senate and the Global Life Sharing Fund of the Republic of Korea to the Kandal Provincial Administration. The ceremony was held at the Kandal Provincial Hall.

With the invitation of members of the Senate Investigation, Cleanup and Anti-Corruption Committee (Committee 10), the Senate Group of Region 3 (Kandal Province), the Provincial Council, the Provincial Deputy Governor, Advisors, Assistants to the Office of His Excellency the First Vice President, representatives of relevant departments, and representatives of the Global Fund for Saving Lives of the Republic of Korea, a total of 130 people.

On that occasion, Mr. Nu Sakhon, Chairman of the Kandal Provincial Council, has committed to managing, managing and delivering all these humanitarian donations to hospitals and health centers with real needs in a transparent, accountable and targeted manner to contribute to improving the well-being of the people in the province, in line with the noble wishes of the Senate and the Global Life Sharing Fund.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ouch Borith, Acting President of the Senate, conveyed the heartfelt greetings of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State and Samdech Kittiprittbandit, to the provincial leaders and citizens of Kandal Province.

The Acting President of the Senate said that the 5th term of the Senate, under the wise leadership of And the wisdom of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has set priorities for work that focus on: 1. Getting closer to the electorate and local communities and 2. Promoting parliamentary diplomacy, which has the main goal of strengthening and expanding friendship and cooperation with the legislative bodies of friendly countries for peace, stability and development.

The Acting President of the Senate expressed his appreciation to the Governor of Kandal Province and all relevant officials for their high attention to maintaining security and social order, especially the elimination of all inactive problems related to cybercrime.

The Acting President of the Senate also called on people of all classes, civil servants, local authorities, and all relevant competent forces to join in with their determination and dedication to join forces as a united Khmer nation to eliminate all latent problems related to cybercrime, as well as to enhance the good reputation of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the international stage.
