Phnom Penh: The Anti-Human Trafficking Office of the Phnom Penh Military Police on May 18, 2026 received a complaint from a female victim accusing her boyfriend, Pa Pan, a 25-year-old man, of stabbing her with a sharp knife, stabbing her under the left clavicle and behind her right clavicle, about two fingernails deep, and threatening to kill her.
After receiving the complaint, the Phnom Penh Military Police conducted an investigation to find the suspect. On May 26, 2026, they collaborated with the female victim and used a trick to get the suspect to meet the female victim by lying that she was pregnant. When the suspect arrived, the female victim reported to the Phnom Penh Military Police via the emergency number 1291. Immediately after the above information, the Anti-Human Trafficking Office cooperated with the Meanchey Military Police Base Force to go to the victim’s rented room in Damnak Thom 2 Village, Stung Meanchey 3 Sangkat, Meanchey Khan, Phnom Penh and arrested the suspect named Pa Pan and sent him to the Phnom Penh Military Police Headquarters for legal action.
Under expert measures, the suspect confessed that he had indeed taken the knife and stabbed the victim, his ex-girlfriend, because he was angry and asked for a reconciliation, but she refused.
The suspect was prepared by the Anti-Human Trafficking Office of the Phnom Penh Military Police to file a case with the court for legal action.
