Mondulkiri: Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha, Minister of the Ministry of Interior, presided over the inauguration ceremony of Mr. Kong Kimny as Governor of Mondulkiri Province and Mr. Colonel Chea Chetra as Commissioner of Police of Mondulkiri Province on the morning of May 28, 2026 at Mondulkiri Provincial Hall.
Please note that on May 23, 2025, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State, issued a royal decree appointing Mr. Kong Kimny, Deputy Governor of Kratie Province, as Governor of Mondulkiri Province, replacing Mr. Thong Savun, who was appointed Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior.
Separately, Colonel Chea Chetra, head of the Investigation and Procedures Office of the Phnom Penh Police Department, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Mondulkiri Province, replacing Major General Lor Sokha.
