Phnom Penh: Her Excellency Dr. Pech Chanmon Hunmanet, Honorary President of the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation, on May 28, 2026, will preside over the “Opening Ceremony of the 10,000 Riel 10,000 People Campaign” 2026, “Meeting Ceremony with the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation Support Committee” and “Meeting Ceremony and Donation Ceremony from the Private Sector to the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation”.
In a welcoming speech, with great emotion, the Doctor conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to the Presiding Officers and all the distinguished guests present at the opening ceremony.
The Doctor also deeply appreciated and thanked the leaders of ministries and institutions, the private sector, relevant partners and citizens who have been generous in supporting the Kantha Bopha Foundation with their strength and resources in the past. The organization of this campaign is to celebrate International Children’s Day on June 1, inspire activities to mobilize charitable funds, especially to inspire the spirit of Khmer helping Khmer to Cambodian citizens of all classes both at home and abroad, under the theme “No matter what the circumstances, Khmer still helping Khmer” to jointly maintain the sustainability of the work of Kantha Bopha Hospital, which has contributed to saving the lives of Cambodian children. Including millions of pregnant women, free of charge, over the past three decades.
