The Minister of Public Service encourages civil servants to dare to raise challenges to work together to find solutions

Phnom Penh: Mr. Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Public Service, has called on and strongly encouraged leaders and civil servants at all levels to dare to report the concerns and challenges they have encountered in order to jointly find effective solutions.

This statement was made during the May 2026 meeting of the Ministry of Public Service on the morning of May 28, 2026, which was organized to review work progress, achievements, challenges, and set work goals for the following month.

According to the progress summary report read by Mr. Siet Vichet, Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Service, the ministry has achieved many commendable tasks throughout May, covering both core work and major reform work of the Royal Government.

Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many highly appreciated and expressed sincere appreciation for the efforts of all leaders and civil servants, both at the central level and in the capital and provincial departments.

Along with these positive achievements, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that, “Although the Ministry of Public Service has accomplished many of its tasks, we still face some challenges that require discussion and seeking additional inputs. “Therefore, I would like to highly encourage all leaders and civil servants of the Ministry of Public Service to report and raise concerns as well as challenges encountered so that we can discuss and find solutions in a timely manner.”

In addition to encouraging the resolution of internal challenges, the Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized that all leaders and civil servants must continue to pay close attention to all suggestions or issues arising from public opinions to ensure transparent and accountable public service delivery.
