Following the orders of His Excellency Lieutenant General Chuon Narin, Deputy Commissioner General and Commissioner of Phnom Penh Police, on the afternoon of May 29, 2026 at the Phnom Penh Police Headquarters, the Light Crime Police Bureau, led by Brigadier General Bun Satya, Deputy Commissioner in charge of Criminal Police Work Plan, Major General Ly Bun Eng, Deputy Commissioner in charge of the Light Crime Police Bureau, and Colonel Mam Savon, Head of the Light Crime Police Bureau, presented the faces of 24 suspects involved in 5 different crimes that the specialized forces had cracked down on.
The operation to suppress the above suspects was carried out in cooperation with the police inspectorates of Por Sen Chey, Chbar Ampov, Toul Kork, and Dangkor as follows:
Case 1: Intentional violence with aggravated circumstances committed at the Toul Pong traffic light, concrete road, Toul Pong village, Sangkat Chom Chao 1, Por Sen Chey on May 23, 2026 at 22:00 and intentional violence with aggravated circumstances and intentional damage with aggravated circumstances Committed at the Total Gas Station,
Bento Road, Sambour Village, Dangkor Sangkat, Dangkor District, Phnom Penh on May 24, 2026 at 01:57.
Case 2: Theft aggravated by violence and causing intentional damage with an aggravated crime, committed at the concrete road, Trapaing Krasaing Village, Trapaing Krasaing Sangkat, Por Sen Chey District, on May 22, 2026 at 02:10.
Case 3: Aggravated fraud (fraud with assignment) committed at house number 92A
Street number C11, Veal Sbov Sangkat, Chbar Ampov District, Phnom Penh, on May 21, 2026.
Case 04: Using a fake passport, committed in Phnom Penh on May 25, 2026.
Case 05: Attempted murder, committed at rented room number 41B, Chompou Van 2 Village, Chom Chao 3 Sangkat, Por Sen Chey District, on May 28, 2026 at 01:20.
Currently, the above suspects and the evidence of the criminal expert force have built a case for handling according to the procedure.
