Phnom Penh: Spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, Mr. Sun Mesa, said that at approximately 10:40 am on May 29, 2026, a fire broke out at the Ying Hai Coating (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. factory building, whose main business activity is producing materials for supplying bicycle assembly plants (bicycle paint), located in the Tay Seng Bavet Special Economic Zone, Bavet City, Svay Rieng Province.
According to the spokesperson, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Currently, water tankers and local water tankers are working to extinguish the fire.
