Pursat: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the acting head of state of Cambodia, has instructed authorities to pay attention to resolving land disputes for citizens quickly and effectively, especially out-of-court settlements without bias.
During a meeting with 775 provincial, city, district, commune, and sangkat councils and leaders of departments and organizations around Pursat province on May 30, 2026, Samdech Techo Hun Sen reminded all officials to avoid inaction or any oppression and to remember that “officials are not the people’s bosses, but loyal servants of the people.”
Meanwhile, Samdech Techo also asked authorities to pay attention to resolving land disputes for citizens quickly and effectively. Especially the out-of-court settlement without bias to any party. The Prime Minister also urged local authorities to join together in preserving the natural resources available at the local level, preventing their destruction and working together to maintain them sustainably.
Finally, Prime Minister Hun Sen praised all officials at all levels of Pursat province who have worked together to develop the province to achieve continuous progress and wished all civil servants happiness, prosperity and success in all their duties.
