Poipet: On the morning of Friday, June 12, 2026, the Poipet City Administration, led by Mr. Keat Hul, Governor of the Poipet City Council, along with his team, inspected and instructed traders in the Akka Market (Fish Market) to immediately stop importing, displaying, and distributing all types of products imported from Thailand.

On that occasion, the team promoted and advised traders to strictly follow the authorities’ instructions, not allowing the import or display of goods, frozen meat and other products originating from Thailand for distribution and local consumption.

At the same time, the authorities have also advised traders and business owners to stop displaying baht exchange rates at business locations in Poipet. The Poipet City Administration calls on all businessmen and citizens to cooperate and effectively implement these instructions in accordance with the orders and measures of the competent authorities.
