Any person who distributes, sells, rents, displays, projects or displays in public obscene images and materials or possesses, transports, imports, exports, produces obscene images and materials for distribution, sale, rents, displays, projects or displays in public shall face imprisonment as stipulated in the Law on Suppression of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation.
Under the leadership of Lieutenant General Rath Sreang, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Military Police, Commander of the Phnom Penh Municipal Military Police, and with the coordination of Mr. Sin Reaksa, Deputy Prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court Prosecutor’s Office, on May 29, 2026, the Anti-Human Trafficking Bureau of the Phnom Penh Municipal Military Police launched a crackdown on 3 locations selling pornographic materials in Boeung Keng Kang, Sen Sok and Toul Kork districts, and arrested a total of 9 male and female suspects (1 Chinese, 8 Cambodians) and confiscated many pornographic materials, including artificial female vaginas, electronic artificial penises, latex artificial penises, sexual arousal candy, and various drugs and oils suspected of being aphrodisiacs.
The 9 suspects were prepared by the Anti-Human Trafficking Office of the Phnom Penh Military Police to request that the case be sent to court for legal action.
