Kandal Province: A joint police force launched an operation to inspect and search a warehouse suspected of secretly storing frozen meat imported from Thailand in Prey Boeung Village, Bek Chan Commune, Ang Snuol District, Kandal Province.
The operation was carried out on June 16, 2026, under the direct leadership of Major General Hun Kimchaet, Director of the Central Police Department of Justice, with the participation of the Kandal Provincial Administration and experts from the General Department of Consumer Protection, Competition and Anti-Fraud (GDCAF).
As a result, the authorities confirmed that the search operation found and seized an unspecified amount of 200 to 250 kilograms of unopened marijuana for further inspection according to the procedure.
