Phnom Penh: Samdech Presidium of the National Assembly, President of the National Assembly, Khuon Sudary, said that Cambodia and Laos still have many potentials to jointly improve the livelihoods of both countries.
During a working meeting with Mr. Sonexay VANNAXAY, Ambassador of Laos to Cambodia, on May 6, 2026 at the National Assembly Palace, Samdech Khuon Sudary said that the traditional friendship between Cambodia and Laos has greatly contributed to the development of the people of both countries.
The Samdech said, “Cambodia and Laos still have many potentials in the tourism, culture, economy, and trade sectors to improve the livelihoods of both countries, such as tourism, where the leaders of the two countries have mentioned the opening of a cultural corridor. Between Wat Pho and Angkor Wat, etc. ».
Mr. Sonsai Vannasai highly evaluated and praised Cambodia’s rapid progress in all sectors, including the Techo International Airport, social infrastructure, public and private building construction, and the Funan Techo Canal construction project, etc.
