Preah Vihear Province: Under the spirit of solidarity and high concern for the well-being of local people, on May 5, 2026, the Cambodian People’s Party working group in Preah Vihear City and Palhal Sangkat visited and brought food and financial support to alleviate the suffering of the families of three deceased in the area.
This meaningful humanitarian activity was led by Mr. Eh Saro, President of the Cambodian People’s Party of Preah Vihear City, accompanied by Mr. Chat Suon, President of the Palhal Sangkat Party, as well as colleagues and the team that went to help the sanctum.
Caring for families who are experiencing grief During this visit, the team visited the homes of the three deceased families:
1. The family of Mr. Sao Sok, living in Samaki village.
2. The family of Mr. Phat Phe, living in Hamset village.
3. The family of the deceased, Mr. Lith Kun, lives in Chamkar Sramov village.
Humanitarian gifts for each family
To express their condolences and help solve the problems facing them, each family received gifts in the form of materials and funds:
125,000 riel
1 bag of rice (equivalent to 25 kilograms)
1 box of noodles, 1 jar of soy sauce, 1 jar of fish sauce
1 jar of canned fish, 1 large carton of purified water
On that occasion, Mr. E. Saro and his team delivered a greeting from the head of the local relief team, stating that the Cambodian People’s Party is always by the people’s side, whether in good times or bad. This activity is not only about providing material assistance, but also about providing important encouragement to the people to live comfortably under the roof of peace and development.
