Phnom Penh: On May 7, 2026, Mr. Chea Kosal, Secretary of State, representing His Excellency Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, presided over a job fair organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia to promote recruitment information and provide opportunities for youth and job seekers to apply and interview directly with employer representatives.

The National Employment and Labor Agency (NEA) of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training also promoted job opportunities and mechanisms to provide employment services, including job matching, job counseling, and registration of youth, students, and job seekers.

The organization of job fairs by foreign business groups in Cambodia not only reflected their participation in promoting and providing direct job opportunities to youth and job seekers, while the National Employment and Labor Agency of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has been working hard to organize regular job fairs at local levels and in higher education and technical training institutions, but also showed confidence and trust in the investment environment and potential in Cambodia. He took this opportunity to thank Indian investors and businessmen who have been present and conducting business in Cambodia.

Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary of State emphasized the importance of human resource development that responds to the needs of the labor market and the needs of the private sector for labor and skills. He also stated that NEA is a strategic partner of the private sector in providing recruitment services and matching job seekers to private companies.

On this occasion, the Secretary of State also thanked the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia for initiating the program, which demonstrated its commitment to maintaining stability in the Cambodian labor market and providing job opportunities to youth and job seekers. Which is a priority work of the Royal Government of Cambodia. He stated that NEA is ready to provide cooperation with the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia.

Please note that the job fair program was attended by 15 companies with 200 job opportunities and approximately 300 participants at the Sun and Moon Hotel.
