Kampong Chhnang: Mr. Chhay Rithsen, member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People’s Party, first vice president of the Kampong Chhnang provincial grassroots working group and chairman of the grassroots working group of Samaki Meanchey and Teuk Phos districts, on the morning of May 8, 2026, presided over the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of the meeting hall of the Cambodian People’s Party headquarters in Teuk Phos district, located in Sre Ta Chai Lek village, Tay Thach commune, Teuk Phos district, Kampong Chhnang province.
Please also inform that the new assembly hall building in the premises of the Cambodian People’s Party, Teuk Phos District, Kampong Chhnang Province, is planned to take 8 months to build. The new assembly hall will be 669 square meters in size, 1 story high, and can accommodate 700 people, as well as bathrooms and furniture and equipment for both IT and non-IT technologies, including: setting up a platform, installing a sound system and LED screen, pouring concrete floors and planting trees around the headquarters, making gates and metal doors at the entrance to the headquarters, installing 40 solar lights, installing a 200 KVA generator, and installing air conditioning to provide convenience for party members to carry out their work to serve the interests of the Teuk Phos District Party, making it more efficient and prosperous.
