Preah Vihear Province: In the spirit of serving the citizens and protecting public safety, the combined forces of Preah Vihear City have undertaken an operation to repair severely damaged road infrastructure to facilitate travel and reduce traffic accidents.
On the morning of May 9, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. Under the direct leadership of Colonel Ly Taichun, Preah Vihear City Police Chief, the road repair operation was carried out in a smooth manner.
The team actively cooperated in transporting stones and soil to fill the holes that were washed away by rain along the red gravel road in front of the institute Asia Cambodia is located in Samak and Ekthep villages, Palhal commune.
Paying attention to safety in all areas, Inspector Ly Taichun stated that this activity is the main duty to ensure that all roads within the jurisdiction, especially in the 10 villages of Palhal commune, must be safe for citizens to travel. He stressed that no matter what problem arises in the area under his control, the authorities will intervene immediately.
He added that the sacrifices of the local forces are noteworthy.
