Phnom Penh: On the occasion of presiding over the closing ceremony of the obstacle course competition, Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha and Mrs. Award on May 17, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior, expressed satisfaction, appreciation and congratulations for the successful results of the obstacle course competition, finals, at the Cambodian Police Academy.

According to a report by General Professor Ek Monosen, President of the Cambodian Police Academy, the obstacle course competition was organized from May 11 to 13, 2026, with the aim of enabling students and police cadets to compete and demonstrate their skills in accordance with technical requirements.

The Minister of Interior congratulated and encouraged the athletes who won to continue to work hard to develop their abilities.
For athletes who have not won, the Deputy Prime Minister urged them not to be discouraged, but to study and understand the experience from the competition and examine all their shortcomings to improve, evaluate and increase further training to prepare for success in future competitions.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed hope that through this competition, male and female athletes will have the opportunity to participate in competitions at a similar level in the military sector organized by the Ministry of National Defense or the Ministry of Interior in the future. Therefore, the merits that are gathered and obtained during this opportunity are truly invaluable resources in contributing to improving the capacity of the National Police Force to be stronger, more decisive, and more modern, aiming to ensure high efficiency in fulfilling national defense, social security, and serving the people better.
