Pursat: On the morning of May 18, 2026, Mr. Khoy Rida, Governor of Pursat Provincial Government and Honorary President of the Provincial Veterans Association, invited his team and local authorities to inspect the progress of work and achievements of veterans living in Bun Rany Hun Sen Village, Damnak Truyeng, Prangil Commune, Phnom Kravanh District, Pursat Province.

During the visit to review the progress of work and achievements, Mr. Khoy Rida expressed his appreciation for the efforts of authorities at all levels and all veterans who have worked together to transform this area into a place of development and good order. The provincial governor hopes that in the future, this village will change the face of both the living conditions of the people and the economy and will be able to become another new tourist area of Pursat province.

It should be noted that Bunrany Senchey Village, Damnak Truyeng is a newly created village, cut from Say Village, Prangil Commune Phnom Kravanh district, Pursat province, is approximately 80 kilometers from Pursat provincial capital and approximately 50 kilometers from Krakor district capital. The residents of this new village, 628 families, are all poor war veterans who were selected to receive houses and social land concessions from the government. All of them have sacrificed their strength, physical strength, and lives for the sake of the nation and the homeland, especially to make the country achieve peace, stability, and development as it is today.

Under the great consideration and attention of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister of Cambodia and President of the Senate, Samdech Kittipritbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, and continued by Samdech President Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, the Samdech always remembers the families of veterans who once participated in the national liberation struggle by building houses, providing social land concessions, building necessary infrastructure such as schools, hospitals, monasteries, water wells, electricity networks, installing solar lights, building dams, spillways, and roads, training in modern agricultural techniques, and providing food and material donations according to practical possibilities, including provincial administrations and departments and organizations around the province as a friendly alliance.
