Preah Vihear: Dr. Kao Thach, the Royal Government Delegate in Charge of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), and Mr. Kim Rithy, Governor of Preah Vihear Provincial Government, and their colleagues visited and inspected the living conditions of refugees in their new homes on the evening of May 18, 2026, and studied the possibilities of helping to improve their livelihoods through farming.
The invitation to meet the refugee families in person is in Takeung Phong village, Thmey commune, Kulen district, Preah Vihear province. The refugee families were organized by the government to distribute houses to them through a lottery to provide them with housing where they can grow crops and raise animals to meet their daily needs.
For Dr. Kao Thach, on behalf of the Rural and Agricultural Development Bank and the Governor of Preah Vihear Province, he also encouraged the refugee families who have received housing to consider studying and creating jobs in the agricultural sector in other places, such as growing vegetables and raising animals, to earn additional income and better solve their daily lives.
