Phnom Penh: On the morning of May 19, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Mr. UENO Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, signed an exchange of letters and related documents on the provision of a grant from the Japanese government for the project to establish a teacher training institute in Kampong Cham province, amounting to 1,189,000,000 yen (approximately 8 million US dollars).
