Siem Reap Province: On the morning of May 19, 2026, the Siem Reap Province Administration organized a ceremony to consecrate the statue of Lord Vishnu sitting on the throne of King Krut, located in Thanol Village, Sangkat Srangre, Siem Reap Province, at the roundabout in front of Samdech Ov High School on National Road 6 towards the old airport.
With the participation of His Royal Highness Prince Men Sam An, the Supreme Council of the King, the Siem Reap Administration, civil servants, the armed forces, and citizens to pray for peace, security, and tranquility for the land and for the Khmer people throughout Cambodia.
It should be recalled that on May 4, 2026, the Siem Reap Administration and the Oddar Meanchey provincial administration have collaborated to organize a ceremony to bring Lord Vishnu atop King Krut from Oddar Meanchey province to Siem Reap.
