Phnom Penh: Mr. Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Mr. Sonexay VANNAXAY, Ambassador of Laos to Cambodia, discussed strengthening and expanding some working relations and transporting Cambodian agricultural products through Laos to the Chinese market.
Both sides strengthened and expanded such relations during a courtesy meeting and working discussions at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on the afternoon of May 19, 2026.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening and expanding relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Laos, cooperation on agricultural inputs, focusing on potash, promoting bilateral agri-trade, transporting Cambodian agricultural products through Laos to the Chinese market, and promoting cooperation in the framework of trade, economy and investment to provide mutual benefits to the people of both countries.
