Mondulkiri police crack down on drug cases, arrest 7 suspects in Keo Seima district

Mondulkiri Province: The anti-drug unit of the Mondulkiri Provincial Police Headquarters, in collaboration with the Keo Seima District Police Headquarters and the Sre Khtum Administrative Police Station, launched an operation to crack down on cases of illegal trafficking, storage and use of narcotics, arresting 7 suspects in O’Am Village, Sre Khtum Commune, Keo Seima District, Mondulkiri Province.

The operation was conducted on May 18, 2026 at 12:33 p.m., under the leadership of Major General Lor Sokha, Mondulkiri Provincial Police Chief, and coordinated by Mr. Seav Ngychian, Deputy Prosecutor of the Mondulkiri Provincial Court.

The authorities conducted the operation at the blue tent and the concrete road behind the school in O’Am Village, executing arrest warrant number 83 D.D./26. During the operation, the police arrested seven male suspects and tested positive for drugs in their urine.

After searching the residence of Kang Touch, also known as “Achar Touch,” the police found six packages of drugs, including three large packages, two medium-sized packages, and one small package, as well as some related materials.

The evidence seized by the police included:
6 packages of drugs
2 drug weighing scales
Some packaging bags
Drug paraphernalia
1 AK-47 rifle
18 AK-47 bullets
7 cell phones
1 blue Exciter 2020 motorcycle without license plate
Currently, the seven suspects and the evidence Sent to the Keo Seima District Police Inspectorate to build a case and proceed according to legal procedures.
