During a meeting with 966 provincial, city, district, commune, and Sangkat councils and leaders of departments and organizations around Kampong Chhnang province on May 27, 2026, Samdech Techo Hun Sen reminded all officials to continue to maintain national stability and pay attention to maintaining social security and order by continuing to implement the policy of safe villages and communes, including cracking down on various crimes such as theft, robbery, and drug trafficking.
Samdech Techo He also reminded all officials to avoid any inaction or oppression and to remember that “officials are not the people’s masters, but their loyal servants. On the other hand, avoid 3 loyal husbands, 4 loyal wives, and 5 loyal children who can cause problems and affect the feelings of local people.”
Meanwhile, Samdech Techo also asked authorities to pay attention to resolving land disputes for citizens quickly and effectively, especially out-of-court settlements without favoritism.
