Phnom Penh: Representatives of five Korean companies are planning to visit Cambodia in the near future to explore investment opportunities in Cambodia.

During a working meeting between Mr. Khuon Phon Rattanak, Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, and Mr. Lee Mooncheol CEO of Aerobi Co., Ltd and Mr. Song Young-Ho, badminton coach at the Cambodian Embassy in Seoul, under the coordination of Mr. Kim Yun Tae, Director of the Korean Multicultural Museum on May 26, 2026. Mr. Kim expressed his pleasure at having the opportunity to visit the Embassy again.

Mr. Kim also reported on the progress of collaborative work in finding Korean investors to study investment opportunities in Cambodia, as a result of which he plans to lead five companies to Cambodia as an initial step in June 2026. During the upcoming visit of the Korean investment group to Cambodia, Mr. Kim also requested that the embassy help facilitate meetings with relevant ministries, institutions, and specialized companies to discuss cooperation and learn more about future investment opportunities.

In response, the ambassador thanked Mr. Kim for always cooperating and coordinating the work. and introduced some companies to learn more about investment opportunities in Cambodia in the past.

His Excellency informed the Korean company that the Embassy would help facilitate the visit to Cambodia and the request to meet with Cambodian stakeholders and continue to support the company to achieve fruitful results in the upcoming working visit.
