Phnom Penh: Phnom Penh Military Police in Chroy Changvar District at 22:40 on May 25, 2026, cracked down on a gang of young people who often ride motorcycles on public roads at a point along Sukano Road, Prek Raing Village, Prek Ta Sek Sangkat, Chroy Changvar District Phnom Penh and immediately arrested 5 gang members.
After the arrest, the Phnom Penh Military Police in Chroy Changvar District took the above 5 gang members for education, made a contract to stop all gang activities that affect their studies, destroy property and family honor, and cause fear to those around them, causing anarchy in society, and confiscated 3 motorcycles to be kept for 3 months at the Chroy Changvar Military Police Base, according to the strict order of Samdech Maha Bovorathei Hun Manet.
Please note that Samdech Thip Dei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has previously said that all measures must be implemented in the strictest manner, both administrative and legal, especially gang members who ride motorcycles on public roads. The motorcycle must be impounded for three months for the first offense and six months if the offender does not show signs of remorse for the second offense.
