Phnom Penh: Lieutenant General Chuon Narin, Deputy Chief of Police and Commissioner of Phnom Penh Police, has instructed the inspectors of all 14 districts in Phnom Penh to constantly monitor and monitor the concentration of illegal foreigners in their areas.

During the meeting to summarize the crime situation and the results of the crime suppression operations in the first half of 2026, Lieutenant General Chuon Narin instructed to strictly manage and strengthen the supervision of forces in each unit and to carry out their roles and duties effectively and with high responsibility.

In particular, Lieutenant General Chuon Narin instructed the 14 district police chiefs to continue to pay attention, prepare plans and directions, and cooperate with the district administration in inspecting the places of work and residence of illegal foreigners who secretly commit online scams.

In addition, the Phnom Penh Municipal Police Chief also instructed to continue patrolling to prevent and suppress all types of crimes, especially to conduct local surveillance, control foreigners, and clean up online scams that are hidden in the local area with the highest responsibility.
Lieutenant General Chuon Narin emphasized that if they do not act decisively, they will be held accountable before the law.
