Phnom Penh: On May 27, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, held fruitful bilateral talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, as the two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues, especially on recent developments in the Cambodia-Thailand border issue.

During the talks, Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn expressed deep gratitude to the Chinese friends as the rotating president of the United Nations Security Council for May, especially for inviting Cambodia to attend the High-Level Open Meeting chaired by His Excellency Wang Yi.
The two Foreign Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership of Cambodia-China cooperation and working closely in multilateral forums to promote regional stability.

The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues, especially on recent developments in the Cambodia-Thailand border issue.
