Kampong Speu: Ms. To Pila, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, and Mr. Cheav Vicheak, Deputy Governor of Kampong Speu Province, presided over the inauguration ceremony of the “Made in Cambodia National Product Campaign” to promote and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), handicrafts, and local processors on the afternoon of June 5, 2026.
The opportunity to showcase the potential of their products into the market was held at the Samdech Sangharach Chuon Nath Park in Kampong Speu Province.

With the participation of His Excellency the members of the provincial council, the heads of the provincial and capital departments of commerce, the armed forces, owners of supermarkets, marts, mini-marts, and many local manufacturing and processing crafts, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

‎Mr. Cheav Vichek, Deputy Governor of Kampong Speu Province, expressed his full support and high appreciation for the Kampong Speu Provincial Department of Commerce, which organized the “Made in Cambodia” national product campaign. This is a very important event in opening a golden opportunity for traders, producers, as well as owners of micro, small and medium enterprises in Kampong Speu Province, as well as throughout the country, to bring Cambodian products to show their potential to compete. and step into modern markets.

‎He continued that Kampong Speu province has great potential in the agricultural, agro-industrial and tourism sectors. He called on all citizens to support and use more Khmer products because their support helps create jobs and increase income for the community. And contribute to promoting the overall national economic growth.

‎Taking advantage of the opportunity, Ms. To Pila, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, also highlighted the position of the Ministry of Commerce that the Ministry of Commerce always considers micro, small and medium enterprises  as the indispensable backbone of the national economy. This campaign is not only the creation of a temporary market, but also the opening of a new page in promoting the value chain of Cambodian products, from production, processing, packaging to bringing them to market.
This campaign to promote national products requires the participation of micro, small and medium enterprises, which are local manufacturing and processing crafts, along with modern markets, mini-marts, and supermarkets operating locally, which are important players in contributing to promoting the use and promotion of Cambodian products and connecting markets under the coordination of the Ministry of Commerce and at the sub-national level.

‌‎The Secretary of State for the Ministry of Commerce continued that the Made In Cambodia national product campaign in the provincial capitals is organized to expand the local market, creating opportunities for local producers and micro, small and medium enterprises to display and sell products directly. At the same time, this campaign is also to promote national pride, cultivate the habit of Khmer helping Khmer and increase confidence in the quality of national products, as well as connect business networks and create a meeting platform between producers and distributors in the region.

‌‎On that occasion, the Secretary of State, the Provincial Governor, and His Excellency the Provincial Council members, as well as all the distinguished guests, were invited to visit and ask questions directly at each exhibition booth.
