Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia has stressed Cambodia’s commitment to continue promoting cooperation within the Cambodia-Vietnam and Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam frameworks for the benefit of the people.

The President’s remarks were made during a courtesy call and working discussion with Mr. To Lam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, during his official visit and participation in the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum in Vietnam on June 9, 2026.

During the meeting, the Vietnamese President recalled the fruitful results of his state visit to Cambodia and the invitation to attend the Party Summit in Cambodia in early February 2026.

Mr. To Lam also highlighted his support for To continue strengthening and expanding Cambodia-Vietnam relations as well as Cambodia-Vietnam-Laos cooperation to be even closer, as well as continuing to work together in regional and international frameworks to contribute to maintaining peace and security.
