Korean jewelry designer wants to expand investment in Cambodia

Phnom Penh: Mr. Khuon Phonrattanak, Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, met with Ms. Seo Ae Jin, CEO and jewelry designer of SUKARF, to discuss plans to expand investment in Cambodia.

Ms. Seo Ae Jin mentioned that SUKARF is a Korean gold, silver and precious stone jewelry company, and her company’s jewelry has been selected as national gifts for foreign dignitaries at official events and programs in the Republic of Korea.

During the meeting, she informed the Ambassador About the desire to expand her company’s investment in Cambodia by finding a partner company or jewelry factory in Cambodia to train Cambodian gemstone manufacturing and design techniques and export them abroad.

Seizing the opportunity, she also invited the embassy to participate in the International Jewelry Exhibition in Seoul in August.

In response, the Ambassador expressed his interest in the jewelry exhibition program and informed her that Cambodia has a wide range of gold, diamond, and precious stone jewelry. He invited her to Cambodia to meet with jewelry designers and the Embassy was ready to help facilitate meetings between her company and jewelry companies in Cambodia.
