President Hun Sen will attend the ASEAN-Russia Anniversary Summit in Kazan

Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen of the Kingdom of Cambodia will lead a high-level delegation to attend the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Partnership from 17 to 18 June 2026 in Kazan, Russian Federation, at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Deputy Prime Minister Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, several ministers, senior government officials, and representatives of the Cambodian business community.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 15, 2026, in commemoration of the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia dialogue relations, the summit is an important opportunity to set a direction for further promotion The ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership.

The leaders will also exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest and concern to contribute to promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.

The Prime Minister will attend various side events and hold a number of bilateral meetings to further strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as promote cooperation in areas of common and mutually beneficial interest.
