Phnom Penh: Professor Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, gave some key messages to the Kok Chok Health Center in Siem Reap Province, which is a model health center in 2025.
Professor Chheang Ra’s key message This was during an inspection of the Kok Chak Health Center on the evening of June 15, 2026.
The minister’s key message was that focusing on excellence should become a culture. Receiving a ranking once or twice can come from hard work, but maintaining continuous excellence requires a work culture based on discipline, responsibility, and constant improvement.
He said, “Don’t be satisfied with your current success, because today’s success is the foundation for greater success tomorrow.” So, don’t stop at recognition, but continue to create new achievements.
The minister added that continuing to increase public confidence is the main goal, not only to treat diseases, but also to make citizens confident that state health centers are the first choice and a reliable choice.
The professor emphasizes that innovation starts from the ground up: many new ideas and good solutions do not start at the headquarters, but from practical experience at the health center. So keep thinking, keep innovating, and keep improving.
