Phnom Penh: Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, on May 7, 2026, was invited to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) in Cebu, Philippines.

While celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC), Cambodia reaffirms the importance of this treaty as an important foundation for promoting regional peace, stability, peaceful dialogue and joint cooperation, especially in an increasingly complex and unpredictable geopolitical context.

In the spirit of ASEAN solidarity Cambodia remains ready to provide capacity building and technical assistance to Timor-Leste to ensure the success of its efforts to become a party to the legal instruments under the three pillars of ASEAN.
