Lieutenant General Tith Sarath invites to open an internal audit at the Pursat Provincial Police Headquarters for fiscal year 2025 and related years

Pursat: On the morning of May 7, 2026, Lieutenant General Tith Sarath, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Internal Audit, Ministry of Interior, presided over the opening ceremony of the internal audit at Pursat Provincial Police Headquarters for the fiscal year 2025 and related years, with the participation of the internal audit delegation, the deputy commissioner of the specialized work plan, the chief, deputy chief of the office, the inspector, the deputy inspector of the city and district police, and the chief of the administrative police station of all 49 communes and communes.

Mr. Brigadier General Heang Sitha, Acting Commissioner, representing Mr. Brigadier General Sar Theng, Commissioner of Pursat Provincial Police, read a summary report on the general situation and major work results of the police department and expressed his full welcome and support for the internal audit team that completed the mission at the unit.

Lieutenant General Tith Sarath said that internal audit is an important mechanism to strengthen the efficiency of work, administrative management, finance, and the performance of the unit’s duties to be more transparent, accountable, and in accordance with applicable regulations.

He stated that the audit was conducted with the aim of examining, evaluating and providing recommendations on the work performance of the Pursat Provincial Police Department to improve the quality of work and ensure efficiency in serving the citizens and maintaining public security and order.

At the same time, he also instructed the audit team and the leaders of relevant organizations to cooperate well, with a high sense of responsibility, and provide comprehensive documents and information to ensure the audit process runs smoothly and achieves good results.

Please note that this internal audit will be conducted according to the plan set by the General Department of Internal Audit, Ministry of Interior, focusing on administrative management, finance, state assets, and the implementation of the organization’s roles and responsibilities for the fiscal year 2025 and related years.
