Kampong Speu: Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many, Minister of Public Service and Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group in Kampong Speu Province, said that the sacrifices of all kinds by the top leaders of the Royal Government of Cambodia, especially Samdech Maha Bovorathi Hun Manet, are considered by the people to be the main factors in bringing peace, national unification and development.
Those sacrifices are priceless in history to ensure complete peace throughout the country and the peace of the people.
This statement was made on the occasion of the official inauguration of the achievements of Angkor Meanchey Serei Udom, also known as Angkor Wat, in Damnak Raing commune, Samak Monichey district, Kampong Speu province, on the morning of May 20, 2026. Also invited were Mr. Yim Sokhom, Chairman of the Provincial Council, Mr. Cheam Chansophorn, Governor of Kampong Speu Province, and many other members.
Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many emphasized that peace is truly priceless and invaluable. The Cambodian people have lived in peace until today because of the complete end of the war and the discovery of complete national unity.
The Deputy Prime Minister continued that at the same time, in response to the sacred wishes of the Cambodian people throughout the country who love peace and want to maintain peace for a long time, Samdech Thibault Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, who has continued to lead, is also highly determined not to let this country return to darkness again, and in doing so, he has also ensured continued development and progress in all sectors.
In addition, Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many also reminded all citizens, especially those in Kampong Speu Province, to continue to work hard for their families’ livelihoods, retain investors to ensure long-term employment, and at the same time, place trust in the leadership of Samdech Thip Dei Hun Manet in leading and seeking peace for the nation, especially in resolving border issues that are being invaded and illegally controlled by neighboring countries.
