2,278 foreigners of 28 illegal nationalities deported from Cambodia

Phnom Penh: For 10 days from June 1 to 10, 2026, Lieutenant General Sok Veasna, Director-General of Immigration, has instructed the Department of Investigation and Enforcement to continue deporting a total of 2,278 foreigners of 28 nationalities from Cambodia.

Among them, 635 Chinese nationals involved in online scams were deported via special aircraft at the Techo International Airport Gate Police Station and 180 Vietnamese nationals involved in online scams were deported at the Prek Chak International Border Gate Police Station (Kampot Province). Several other foreigners involved in illegal immigration, forging fake documents, staying without a passport, kidnapping for ransom, using fake visas (fake QR Codes), online scams, working illegally and other criminal offenses in the Kingdom of Cambodia were deported at the Techo International Airport Gate Police Station.

Please note that the deportation of the above foreigners is in accordance with the strict legal measures of His Majesty the King Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. And the strong leadership of Mr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in the efforts to clean up and eliminate all cybercrimes that occur in the Kingdom of Cambodia to ensure the safety of citizens both in the region and around the world without exception.

Especially for the mastermind behind it, as well as for rescuing the victims Who were tricked by the mastermind into working in a fraudulent activity using any technology system and were freed and able to return to their country.
