Phnom Penh: Mr. Huot Sined, Secretary of State and Deputy Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group in Por Sen Chey District, the high representative of Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training and Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group in Por Sen Chey District, on Friday morning, June 12, 2026, presided over the publicity and consultation forum of the Por Sen Chey District Council, 4th mandate 2026, at the Prey Speu Temple complex, Chom Chao 2 Sangkat, Por Sen Chey District, with approximately 600 people attending.
This dissemination and consultation forum was organized with the aim of listening to citizens’ comments, suggestions and requests regarding policy implementation, local development and public service delivery, as well as providing solutions to challenges that arise in the 7 communes of Por Sen Chey District.
After listening to the report of the District Council, the District Administration, and the comments of Mr. Sak Chankanharith, Governor of Por Sen Chey District, who responded to the requests and suggestions of the citizens, the Secretary of State requested that authorities at all levels continue to pay attention to strengthening public security and order, such as cracking down on illegal online fraud, gangs, illegal drugs, and gambling, etc. Local development is also an important factor that requires the participation of all stakeholders, especially local people.
The Secretary of State further stated that citizens who encounter challenges in requesting public services should contact the single-entry unit of the district administration directly to avoid raising issues on social media. Which is not an appropriate problem-solving mechanism.
Finally, the Secretary of State informed the forum about job opportunities and technical and vocational training, and called on citizens who are not yet employed and want to have a clear life skill to contact the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training at 1297.
