Vietnamese Navy ships dock at the Ream Sea Port

Phnom Penh: A Vietnamese People’s Navy ship, No. 263, led by Rear Admiral Ngo Van Thanh, Political Commander of the 5th Regional Command of the Vietnamese People’s Navy, docked at the Ream Seaport on May 6, 2026.

The Vietnamese People’s Navy ship, HQ 263, has a length of 49.53 meters, a width of 9.2 meters, a deadweight of 375 tons, and a water depth of 2.3 meters, ensuring a wave height of 7-8 meters.

Please note that after the modernization of Ream Port and its official inauguration on April 5, 2025, when ships from many countries around the world docked at Ream Port, it is clear that Two Japanese naval ships docked for the first time. In early 2026, the Ream Sea Base Port in Preah Sihanouk Province also received a series of international ships. Among them, the US warship docked from January 24-28, 2026.
