Coastal provinces: The four coastal provinces of Cambodia have nearly 7,000 job opportunities for former soldiers returning from Thailand and job seekers, according to a recent announcement by the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.

Through the Ministry of Labor’s announcement, as of May 30, 2026, the coastal provinces, including Koh Kong, Sihanoukville, Kampot, and Kep, have a total of 6,755 job opportunities waiting for former workers returning from Thailand and those looking for work. The job opportunities are in the industrial, agricultural and service sectors.

To get those job opportunities, former workers returning from Thailand and those looking for work can search for contact numbers, factory names and the sector they are interested in through the ministry’s job brochure that has been published in detail.

At the same time, in addition to direct contact with factories, enterprises, and factories themselves, all job seekers, especially former workers, can also contact the emergency contact system 1297 to allow the Ministry of Labor to help coordinate job searches, according to the Ministry of Labor.
