Preah Vihear Province: On the morning of June 12, 2026, General Kittisanghabandit Kun Kim, Senior Minister, Vice President and Secretary General of the Cambodian Veterans and Retirees Association, presided over the ceremony to bring valuable emergency relief gifts from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to be distributed to displaced people living in Takeung Phong village, Thmey commune, Kulen district, Preah Vihear province.
This humanitarian action aims to help alleviate the suffering and improve the lives of affected people.
During the meeting, Senior Minister Kun Kim conveyed the deepest condolences, thoughts and feelings of sympathy from Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kittipritbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen to the displaced people and all the families who participated.
The Minister emphasized: “Both His Majesty always pay attention and think about the well-being and livelihood of citizens in every walk of life, especially veterans and citizens who are facing difficulties in life.”
In addition, Mr. Kun Kim emphasized the strong position of the leadership, recalling Samdech Techo’s high recommendation that the Royal Government as well as the leadership not let any citizen suffer from hunger without knowing and without resolving it. Every hardship of the people is the hardship of the leaders, and assistance will be provided continuously without discrimination.
The gift-giving ceremony demonstrated the culture of sharing and the high attention to social welfare, which is the core of Cambodia’s social protection policy in ensuring that all citizens receive support in difficult times.
